no surprise this smoochy number was
another hit from 1940.

12. Lochnagar

One of the finest Scottish songs and a
favourite mountain - my first Munro (with
the school hill-walking club). Lord Byron
attended the same school, but hed left
before I got there!

13. The Proud Peaks of Scotland

Romanticism may be, but this song tells of
our great mountains as they really are!
