The MM (Call-sign Oban Bill) has been a member
of Oban Mountain Rescue Team, since its formation
almost ten years ago. He has also had a lengthy
involvement with Oban Mountaineering Club, and
has been active in the Scottish Hills since his youth.
Hill-walking, mountain backpacking and modest
climbing, especially in the winter months are
favourites, the Munros have been done a
couple of times, and he collects Corbetts
as well.
Singing is fun, especially out
in the open-air with friends and
other people. The MM also
performs as a member of
